About the Author

My name is Paul Bullard, and I’m a husband, father of three (two girls and a boy), and follower of Jesus.

I gave my life to Christ at a State-run group home right after my 16th birthday. Not long after that, I went to live at the Big Oak Boys Ranch, “A Christian home for children needing a chance.”

I studied poetry in college, and graduated from Auburn University with a B.A. in English.

I have volunteered and worked in ministry leadership for over 15 years combined, seeing success in building people, teams, systems, and leadership programs over a wide range of areas

And I now work in higher education accreditation with Highlands College, “America’s Ministry Leadership University,” in Birmingham, Alabama, where I put my creative and relational talents to use in innovating analytical and process environments—and get to lead student groups for half-marathon training and creative writing.
